We did not set out to build compliance software.
The problem was never the tool. Every platform on the market assumes the programme gets rebuilt before each audit, because that is how the work has always been done. Swap the software and the shape underneath does not move.
Sean had run these programmes from the inside. He had also spent years on the other side of them, managing the customers, suppliers and vendors running programmes of their own. Same problem, two vantage points, and no system in either place that knew what was actually happening.
Hitesh came at it from product and technology, and could build what that required.
We met at a venture capital residency in 2024.

Sean has run compliance programmes hands on, and led ground infrastructure at Google's Wing, responsible for acquiring operational sites, permits and ISO certifications. He has also managed them from the outside, across the customers, suppliers and vendors running programmes of their own.

Hitesh brings the product and technology side. A career product builder with deep engineering experience, he owns how the platform is designed and how Vissi works underneath it.
