Bring any framework. Vissibl maps your controls once and keeps them audit-ready, always.
ISO 45001 Β· Health & Safety

Fewer incidents. Lower premiums. Everyone home safe.

A safety system is only worth having if it works on the day it matters. Vissibl runs your ISO 45001 programme continuously, so hazards, training and incidents are managed every day, not reconstructed the week before an audit or after something goes wrong.

Why it matters

People going home safe is the output. Certification is the proof.

Everyone home safe

The point of a safety system is fewer people hurt. A programme that actually runs, with current hazards, training and controls, is what prevents the incident, not the certificate.

Lower incident cost

Fewer incidents means fewer lost-time injuries, lower workers compensation premiums, less downtime and less rework. Safety that works pays for itself.

The work you can bid for

Principal contractors and prequalification portals like Avetta, Cm3 and Pegasus require a demonstrable safety system. Without it you are screened out before you bid.

What Vissibl does

Your 45001 programme, running every day.

Clause-by-clause coverage

Every clause from 4 to 10 mapped from day one. Controls assessed, linked to evidence, gaps surfaced as they appear.

Hazard & risk register

Hazards identified, risk assessed and controls tracked. The register stays current as sites, plant and work change.

Incident reporting & investigation

Incidents, near-misses and corrective actions raised and closed in one workflow. Root cause and effectiveness review built in.

Training & competency

Tickets, inductions and role requirements tracked with expiry alerts. No one on site with a lapsed ticket.

Internal audit & management review

45001 clauses on your audit schedule alongside your other frameworks. Management reviews documented to certifier standard.

Vissi Audit gap analysis

Bring your existing documentation. Vissi Audit runs it against ISO 45001 in 11 minutes and tells you exactly where you stand.

One system, not three

Run 45001 with 9001 and 14001 as one programme.

ISO 45001 shares the same High Level Structure as 9001 and 14001, so quality, environment and safety run as one integrated management system. One audit schedule, one management review, one incident and non-conformance workflow.

  • Shared context, leadership, audit and review across frameworks.
  • One incident and NCR workflow and one document vault.
  • Add 9001 or 14001 without rebuilding your system.
  • Single view across frameworks and sites.
  • Add 27001 or 42001 later when you need them.
What certification involves

The short version.

Like 9001, there is no Annex A control list. ISO 45001 is built around hazard and risk, worker consultation, and continual improvement.

Hazard, risk & consultation

Clauses 4 to 6. Identify hazards, assess risk, capture legal obligations and involve workers in the process.

Operational control & competency

Clauses 6 to 8. Set controls, train and induct, track competency, and manage changes, emergencies and procurement.

Internal audit & review

Clauses 9 to 10. Monitor incidents, run the audit programme, hold management reviews, and drive continual improvement.

FAQ

Common questions.

How is ISO 45001 different from meeting the WHS Act?

The WHS Act sets your legal duties. ISO 45001 is a structured management system that proves you meet those duties consistently and keep improving. Certification is the independent evidence that your system works, not just that you know the law.

Is ISO 45001 mandatory?

Not by law, but increasingly required by principal contractors, prequalification portals and major-project clients. If your buyers ask for evidence of a safety management system, 45001 is the answer they expect.

How long does certification take?

For a business with an existing management system in good standing, typically three to six months. Vissibl surfaces your gap position on day one, so you know where you stand before Stage 1.

Can we run 45001 alongside 9001 and 14001?

Yes, and you should. They share the same High Level Structure, so management review, internal audit, document control and corrective action are run once across all three.
